Rich Dodson is a Canadian rock musician, singer-songwriter and guitarist. He is best known as the founding member of the popular 1970s band The Stampeders. He was born on July 1, 1947, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He formed The Stampeders in 1964 with Kim Berly and Ronnie King. The band's biggest hits included "Sweet City Woman," "Carry Me," and "Devil You." Rich Dodson has been inducted into the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame and the Canadian Music Hall of Fame for his contributions to the Canadian music industry. He continues to perform and record music and is a respected figure in the Canadian music scene.
